Mortgage Rate Watch

It was all over the news recently when mortgage rates dropped to 4.5%. It certainly made my ears perk up. I wished I had locked my refinance at that rate. It turns out that several members were lucky enough to have signed up for the rate watch service and were notified in time to take advantage of historically low rates.

If you’d like to be alerted when rates hit your target, go to http://nevadafederal.mortgagewebcenter.com/ and enter your data in the quick quote fields. When you hit go, it shows you the rates currently offered. It also has an option at the top left to register for the Rate Watch service. Click where is says, “Keep an eye on rates via e-mail! Sign up for Rate Watch!”

It's that easy. You'll only be notified when rates hit your target, so no need to worry about spam.
