Electronics Recycling

There are many forms of recycling everday appliances and electronics that are sitting around your home. You could either donate or sell them for someone else to use. Or, you can try to locate a place that will dispose of old appliances/electronics in an earth-friendly way.

My recent searching led me to two particular organizations that I had not heard of before.

This first is A Lift Up. It is a non-profit organization that takes gently used or new items to serve the needs of families in Southern and Northern Nevada. (Scheduled pickups offered in Southern Nevada only at this time.)

Ideal donations include beds, pillows, bed linens, dishes, silverware, kitchen tables and chairs, bedroom dressers, sofas and loveseats and lamps.

Southern Nevada:

3310 South Nellis Boulevard, Suite #28
Las Vegas, Nevada 89121
(702) 457-0700

Northern Nevada Branch:

443 Idaho Street
Elko, Nevada 89801
(775) 753-8455

The second company I came across is All Green Electronics Recycling.

They are a full service electronics recycler and collector specializing in "All Green" electronics recycling. They currently have over 100 points of collection for old and outdated electronics throughout California, Nevada, Washington, Tennessee, North Carolina and Florida.

They offer free drop-offs for most electronics including Computers, Laptops, Monitors, Printers, Cell Phones, Televisions and many other used electronics.
