What Your Lawyer Won't Tell You About Probate
A loved one dies and you're left to deal with the legacy and the unknown secret life of the deceased. A lawyer can read the will and settle an estate, but there are many things that a lawyer can't tell you because they involve family history, emotions, superstitions, and other non-legal issues affecting the probate process. How can you keep your sympathies from weakening your resolve when it comes to property rights, wills vs. wishes of the deceased and personal moral code?
Author Ann Marquez (Journey Into Probate & Back) will talk about her book and answer questions about aspects of death, dying and handling probate issues outside of what a lawyer could, would or should advise. For more information, please call 507-3458.
