Walking Together for Down Syndrome in Northern Nevada

The Down Syndrome Network of Northern Nevada has organized a Walk to help raise awareness and promote inclusion for people with Down Syndrome. Families and friends will walk together to raise awareness about Down Syndrome this Saturday, October 10th, at the Sparks Marina.
Teams are challenged to compete against each other by fundraising in a fun way of creating team pride and banners. Employees of Nevada Federal Credit Union will be volunteering at the event and would encourage all members and potential members to come out and support this worthy cause.

What: A mile walk around the Sparks Marina Park to raise awareness and promote inclusion for people with Down Syndrome.
When: 9:30 a.m. registration, 11 a.m. walk on Saturday, October 10th, 2009
Cost: Free to walk, donations accepted; money benefits the Down Syndrome Network of Northern Nevada
