What's Cooking at Nevada Federal

Here's a great recipe from our employee cookbook just in time for the holidays. Happy Baking!

Pie Crust

2 c. flour
1 ½ tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. shortening
1 ½ tsp white vinegar
1 whole egg
¼ c. water

Mix flour, sugar and salt. Cut in shortening. Mix vinegar, egg and water. Add to flour mixture. Add additional flour if needed until right consistency to roll. Do not knead.
Roll out on floured board to size of pan.
