Money-Saving Monday: Carpool or Take Public Transportation

Carpool or Take Public Transportation
Carpooling or taking public transportation one day a week can save you big bucks. Let’s say your commute is 50 miles round trip and you average 250 miles to a tank of gas. Cutting out 50 miles a week will save you 200 miles a month, almost one full tank of gas each month. Depending on what vehicle you drive, that can be a significant savings.
